Don't even be forced to recycle your printer paper, just don't print it to begin with. If you can get by without, just stop printing temporarily even. If at all possible, just read online.

On a somewhat related note... I used to grab a few sheets of printer paper to use for notes while I was working. Now I started using the backs of the sheets that I tear off of my (not-so-green) 365 day a year Bill Maher calendar. At least I'm reusing them.
