Bill McKibben Appears on the Late Show with David Letterman

Once again Bill McKibben makes his plea to get the Earth back to 350ppm. Click on the link below to watch the Late Show clip where McKibben makes the case for the current 350.org mission - 10/10/10. McKibben also announced his upcoming road trip to the US White House where he will deliver one of US President Jimmy Carter's original solar panels that was stripped of the building during the latter Reagan administration. I suppose I am not too surprised that there are people who don't believe the scientific predictions forecast for the future of our planet. What does surprise me is the lack of interest in trying to adapt our lives to the changes that have already taken place. I think Mr. Darwin first pointed out the results of a species failing to adapt to change and we don't want to go there (extinction).

I look forward to reading Bill McKibben's book. mb
